This session was one for the books. I knew going into this shoot that I was going to get beautiful photos, because I knew I was working with some seriously beautiful people! BUT until I got to spend some time with the Chavez Family I didnโ€™t realize just how beautiful they really are.

Izzy and I worked together at the elementary school where I am blessed to be a school counselor. Izzy served as our School Resource Officer for much of this school year, and seeing him with our students was truly something special. They ADORE him. The energy and love he gave our kiddos at school was rivaled only by how much he dedicates to his own daughter. You see, I knew Izzy was a wonderful human being from working with him - but I also knew how gorgeous his wife and daughter are because he never missed an opportunity to show all of us photos and videos of his precious family! Like I said - wonderful human being.

Planning ahead for the session Izzy was quick to warn me that as cute as his daughter is, she does not like photos, will not smile, and has a bit of a โ€˜tude. Challenge accepted!

Iโ€™m pleased to say not only did this little angel girl smile, laugh, and baby shark (itโ€™s a verb at this point) her way throughout our session, but we became the best of friends by the end of our time together! *photo evidence included below* I seriously didnโ€™t want to let her go. Can you blame me?! LOOK AT HERRRR <3

Thank you, Chavez Family for being so lovable (and so ridiculously photogenic)! Letโ€™s do this again soon!

With love,

This angel of a human is graduating this year! She is off to pursue nursing at a Florida university. She is so obviously beautiful - but she is also calm, sweet, and wise beyond her years!

Courtney told me all of her reasons for choosing her specific university and I was so envious of how much foresight and ambition she has at her age. I know her family is going to miss her like crazy, but I hope they can find peace knowing what a great head she has on her shoulders and what a big heart she has in her chest! <3

I had so much fun taking these photos with you, and I am wishing you only the most wonderful things in this next chapter, Courtney!

With love,

Introducing Joshua Hutcherson, Class of 2019! This kid has it figured out. He is kind, he is respectful (and worthy of respect), and he dreams BIG! Iโ€™ve had the pleasure of photographing his family during my holiday mini sessions over the past two years now. Mini sessions are so quick and I usually have back to back clients. So getting to spend a couple of hours exploring Boca Grande and getting to talk to Joshua about his interests and plans for the future was awesome!

Congratulations, Joshua! I am praying over your life and the impact you will undoubtedly make! I hope you love your Senior Portraits. :)

My sleepy little beach town brings people from all over the world to enjoy its beaches and quaint style of life throughout the year - especially during the winter months and holiday season. The Urchell Family reached out to me about a session over the Thanksgiving holiday. After going back and forth a bit we realized that the only time that would work for both of our sets of schedules was going to be Thanksgiving Day.

People might say, โ€œgiiiirl, Thanksgiving Day is reserved for family. Why would you book a session?!โ€ (that was my best blogger/photographer message board member impression - itโ€™s okay Iโ€™m one of them, I can say these things). My response to that would be: photographing The Urchell Family gave me another group of people to celebrate on Thanksgiving this year. As a photographer I get to meet some truly wonderful people and this group is among the best, and I am SO thankful I met them!

With love,
